Corona Sunsets Festival comes to Hatfield Park

The global Corona Sunsets Festival Tour will be coming to the UK this September, taking place at the picturesque Hatfield Park on Saturday 2nd September.

One of a global series of one-day festivals devoted to connecting people with nature by celebrating the sunset, the UK edition will feature live headliners including Leicester favourites Easy Life, soul-songstress Mahalia, contemporary duo Franc Moody and London Gospel House Choir. They’ll be supported by Bristol electro-pop outfit Elder Island, rap and production duo Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, and singer-songwriters ELIZA and Newton Faulkner. To take the festival from day to night, a line up of DJs will also be announced in the coming weeks.

More than a music festival, Corona Sunsets will also feature various experiences inspired by the sunset, from live art installations to culinary experiences, all designed to encourage attendees to connect with nature at the golden hour, including:

Bestselling author and host of BBC Radio 1’s ‘Decompression Session’ Stuart Sandeman, aka “breathpod”, will be hosting breathwork sessions to help festivalgoers disconnect from their daily lives whilst enjoying nature.

Michelin-starred chef Brad Carter will be leading a workshop on bringing nature into your daily diet, from DIY herb gardens to urban foraging.

As a brand born at the beach, Corona believes in the restorative power of nature and taking time out from our busy lives to enjoy the sunset. The Corona Sunsets Festival series brings this ethos to Hatfield Park, encouraging people to disconnect from their digitally led lives and reconnect with nature and friends.

True to the brand’s ambition to protect our planet, Corona is working with non-profit partner Oceanic Global with the aim of being the UK’s first Blue Verified festival. The entire global festival series will be implementing a comprehensive sustainability programme and assessing all sustainability efforts against the NGO’s award-winning Blue Standard.
