Kubix Festival is a new major two-day music event coming to the North-East in 2018.
Taking place on the 10th and 11th August in the stunning outdoor venue of Herrington Country Park, Herrington, Kubix is bringing sensational artists from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s to a stunning large-scale production at incredible value ticket prices.
Kubix Festival’s two days will have contrasting musical vibes, to ensure that there’s something to get everyone excited. Friday hosts some of the biggest stars of the ‘90s pop scene, while the Saturday focuses on ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s alternative, indie and rock music.
Ronan Keating, the man behind over 62 Million Album sales and 9 UK Number 1’s, will headline Friday 10th August, delivering a greatest hits set of Boyzone and solo classics guaranteed to round off the party night of the year in fantastic style. Supporting Ronan will be ‘90s legendary pop groups, B*Witched, Right Said Fred and East 17, with further iconic ‘90s groups to be announced in the New Year.
The Saturday has an alternative, rock and indie vibe, covering the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, with an iconic line up. A major headliner will be announced in January, along with two other fantastic artists – and already announced are The Boomtown Rats, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Peter Hook & The Light, The Undertones and The Blockheads.
This will be the party of 2018 in the North-East!
