Code of Conduct & Behaviour
What standards of behaviour are expected?
London Stadium is committed to a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience. For football matches, the stadium adheres fully to the FA Respect Code of Conduct.
Guests have the right to expect that:
- They are treated in a consistent and professional manner by stadium personnel.
- They sit only in their ticketed seats, keep season/paper tickets in their possession, and show them on request. Tickets remain the property of the event owner (WHUFC or the promoter) until guests leave the stadium.
- No one smokes at any time, including e-cigarettes.
- Reasonable safety requests from staff are followed.
- Entry may be denied to anyone wearing clothing or signs with offensive text and/or images.
What happens if someone breaks the rules?
Anyone not abiding by stadium and ground rules may be ejected without refund, and could face arrest and prosecution.

- HPH – homophobic chanting

You can also report issues to the nearest steward or anonymously via info@londonstadium185.com.
Crowd Movement & Exiting
How does exiting the stadium work after major events?
Road closures help prevent conflict between vehicles and pedestrians. A managed exit (egress) system with hold-and-release points is used to control crowd flow. Staff will guide you using Stop and Go signs.
How long will it take to leave?
Generally, crowds clear within about an hour. On a non-match day, walking to Stratford Station would take 20–25 minutes, but
post-event the journey to the main Stratford Regional Station can take up to 90 minutes.
Guests are encouraged to head towards the main transport hubs, though at some events you may choose to enjoy refreshments after.
Drones
Can I fly a drone over the stadium or park?
No. Recreational drones and remote-controlled flying models are not permitted anywhere over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Commercial drone activity requires
10 days’ notice, must meet CAA standards and comply with the Air Navigation Order 2009. Applications should be sent to
film@londonlegacy.co.uk.
Complaints & Investigations
What if I want to complain about behaviour or staff performance?
All complaints are investigated. Actions can be taken up to and including season ticket revocation. For London Stadium events, a formal complaints policy is available.
Guest Services & Facilities
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes. They are available on each level. Ask a steward for the nearest one to your seat.
Is there a cloakroom or baggage drop?
Cloakroom facilities are available
only for hospitality guests.
Where can I get ticket information?
For
West Ham United matches, ticket details are available via the club. For other events, contact the relevant event organiser.

no public car parking at London Stadium. Limited Blue Badge parking is available.
Can I come by bike?

What should I do if I lose something?
Report it to a member of staff while you’re at the venue. If you’ve already left, email
info@london-stadium.com.
Please note there may be delays after busy show weekends, but all emails are monitored and checked with lost property. The team aims to respond within 7 days.
Found items are kept for two weeks before being discarded. London Stadium is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Facility Locations
Where are first aid rooms, lifts, water fountains, baby changing, buggy storage, or multi-faith rooms?
You can find locations for all these facilities within the stadium. If unsure, ask a steward who will guide you to the nearest one.
